About
My family and I have created a “farm-fresh” start on a coffee plantation on the Big Island of Hawaii. As we care for our coffee, avocado, and fruit trees, we look for new ways to diversify our farm and grow more food for family and community. We are good stewards of the earth and believe that the best food for our body begins with living soil. I enjoy creating natural skin care products from beautiful ingredients from my farm and local island sources. While the work is never done, our days are filled with a sense of accomplishment. Luana Farm is our special place and its name reminds us to “relax, enjoy, and be content.”
Enjoy more pictures of our farm (and order our award-winning 100% Kona coffee) at our website: http://www.luanafarm.com
And I have just launched my very own natural skin care line at http://www.luananaturals.com. Follow me as I navigate my way through technology on Facebook and Twitter.
As the saying goes, “It’s never too late to take the first step toward your aspirations.” Thanks to all who support small, family farms.
I spent many, many years working with educators and administrators in many different capacities, It was while I was the technology director at a private cum laude society school in FL that I met Karen. She was the most principled, dedicated, effective, creative, and loved educator that I ever came across in my long and varied career. I say all this, totally unsolicited, because I am positive that she will be true to her values of being a good steward of the earth, and she’ll market only the finest products produced with the finest ingredients.
